Naughty List of White Lies

This is a stressful time of year.  There are a lot of competing pressures and priorities.  I want to encourage you to be true to yourself.  Don't sacrifice happiness to bend to tradition.  Don't buy gifts you can't afford.  Most of all - don't lie.

If you don't want to go to the party, don't say you will "try to make it" when you don't intend to go. If you are not looking forward to the holidays, say so.  If you don't want to give to charity, then don't.  And when you make an honest statement, don't tag on an excuse or explanation.  You do not have to justify your feelings or intentions.
