Wage Withholding Order

You may have heard the phrase "garnish his/her paycheck" for child support.  If a parent is ordered to pay child support in Iowa and is employed, on order can be signed by a judge that instructs the employer to withhold the amount from each paycheck and submit it to Child Support Recovery (CSR).  CSR then issues a check or does an auto deposit  to the payee.   CSR keeps a tally on the payments and can tell you if support is paid up or past due (in arrears).

No appointment is necessary to get a wage withholding order drafted.
