My life journey shaped my role as an attorney.  I am a farmer's daughter so I grew up with a good work ethic.  I am the middle child so I learned patience and how to share with others.  I was a basketball official for 5 years which taught me to be assertive and think on my feet.  I judged high school speech contest and mock trial and know the importance of justifying low ratings.

My first career began in 2000 in exercise and wellness.  I began in management and discovered my favorite part of the job was resolving conflict and dealing with problems.  When I worked for a non-profit, I learned how to be efficient and get things done.

My goal as an attorney is to resolve your legal conflict efficiently and effectively.  I provide one-on-one service so you will always talk to me about your needs.  I will meet your deadlines.  I will keep you informed of the status of your case.  My invoices provide specific details about the work performed and you will promptly receive your statements each month.  I offer a secure client portal where you can communicate with me and view information about your case.  I stay informed of current caselaw by reading the Iowa appellate opinons after they are published.

I hope that you will contact me with your legal questions to learn if we are a good fit.
